Robert Gordon University’s (RGU) 11th MBA Leadership Week
Luca Corradi, Innovation Network Director (pictured right), will join more than a dozen leaders of industry will share their knowledge and expertise with MBA students when they take part in Robert Gordon University’s (RGU) 11th MBA Leadership Week at Aberdeen Business School.
Luca and Davi Quintiere, Client Service Partner (Energy), Slalom Technology, will host a session titled 'the transformation of the oil & gas industry by technology innovation'. Technology is transforming the oil & gas industry at an impressive pace, disrupting markets, business models, companies and even how day to day work gets delivered. In this session, Luca and Davi will walk through some of the new exciting developments, discuss how technology innovation can be accelerated and what the future of the industry will look like in their views.
An annual event, Leadership Week brings together MBA students and alumni from all over the world, with experts from a range of business sectors in a week of learning opportunities which focus on the fundamentals of leadership and the challenges which leaders face. The programme, which runs from May 26 to June 3, includes practical workshops, team-building exercises and leadership simulation scenarios.
Around 100 full-time, part-time and distance learning students for both the MBA and MBA Oil & Gas Management degrees will participate in the event.
Among the speakers this year will be Neil Wood MBE, a consulting partner at Deloitte, who was Finance Director of the London 2012 Olympic bid and CFO and executive board member of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG).
Other high profile speakers include Robin Watson, CEO Wood Group; Mark Thomas, Regional President, BP North Sea; Ray Riddoch, UK Managing Director and Senior Vice President (Europe), Nexen; Dr Deborah O’Neil, CEO, Novabiotics; Martin Rune Pedersen, COO Maersk Oil; Peter Petrov, Director, First Reserve; Andy Barrie Brown, Director, Mind over Matter Consultancy Ltd; David Shaw, Director, Unicorn Arc Ltd.; Chris Grange and Bob Greenwood, Odgers Berndtson; Duncan Skinner who will deliver The Wood Foundation Philanthropy Lecture and Anton Colella, CEO, ICAS who will give the after-dinner speech at the Balmoral Offshore RGU Energy Management Dinner.
