SPE Offshore Europe 2017 - Technology Zone

The Technology Zone will showcase technologies beyond the 'usual suspects' to help transform the industry.

The Oil & Gas Technology Centre's Technology Zone at SPE Offshore Europe 2017 will present a series of technologies used in alternative sectors to encourage the oil and gas industry to think differently about the adoption of new solutions.

The Technology Zone, a part of the major biennial event which runs from 5 to 8 September at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, will present a series of technologies used in other industries to encourage the oil and gas sector to think differently about adopting new solutions.

You can be in with a chance of winning free stand space in the Technology Zone by simply completing the application form (link below). The applications will be evaluated by a panel of experts and successful organisations will receive an exhibition space for a day during the conference (Tuesday to Thursday) free of charge. This includes a TV screen, access to a locked cupboard and a small display space.

On Tuesday to Thursday, there will be a series of short presentations on the stand followed by a Q&A session with the Oil & Gas Technology Centre's Board and Leadership Team on its priorities and how to get involved.

Friday will see The Oil & Gas Technology Centre collaborate with local secondary schools to announce the winners of an industry challenge, which will be set in advance of the event.
