Open event: Creating a digitally enabled supply chain for the North Sea
We currently have a focus on digital transformation of the supply chain.
The aim of the event is to provoke a thought leadership conversation on how the supply chain models in the North Sea could evolve towards more efficiency and the technology required to underpin and support the transition.
Models from other industries will be presented to illuminate possibilities that are already proven and in operation elsewhere.
On day two of our Digital Supply Chain event, we will hear from guest speakers on the Digital Supply Chain before entering into a panel session where our experts will field questions from the audience on the future of the Oil and Gas supply chain.
The event continues with a review of day one and an introduction to Opportunity North East Digital and how they are supporting the digitisation of the Supply Chain in the Oil and Gas industry. Final remarks and a networking lunch brings the day to a close.
Throughout both days, exhibitors from a cross section of industry will be showcasing their innovative supply chain technologies.
Sarah Forbes – Sarah will be providing an insight from other industries and highlighting what improvements can be made and how data insights can help to drive change.
Paul de Leeuw - Paul will be presenting on the segmentation of the supply chain, from basic supplies to complex machinery and everything in between.
John Calder – John will be presenting an overview of different supply chain models used in large organisations across multiple industry sectors including automotive and telecommunications.
